Good Post. I was looking at some of this, Was Thinking about convernting my Desiel to Veggie..But I'm too scared about winter and afraid I'll shut down wrong.. So I gave up on that idea.

I've been thinking about playing with and trying to build the Hydrogen Generator, But I Wasn't sure if it would make any difference..

Natural Gas sounds like a good idea also? What did you have to swtich out?

Check out extreme 4x4's TV show they converted a truck to veggie and the system they used was manufactured to prevent the incorrect shutdown...built in failsafe.


Would a transmission contoller help with mileage at all?

Or you could do like some of the contractors I know, write off your hunting mileage as a work expense. I need to get on that plan.

yeah that's just the ticket lol "lucky"I will talk to my boss maybe he would go for a gas card but i don't know he is not very reasonable sometimes he mite just up and fire me oh wait a minute what am i thinking I'm self employed lol. on second thought he mite just go for it the only problem who would be paying for it.

Now Nolte, you know writing off hunting mileage as a work expense would be a missapropriation of company assets.......something any CFO would frown on. Fortunately for me, I happen to be sleeping with the CFO of the company I work for and she gives me a free pass. So as long as I can stay on good terms with her (which often is not as easy as it sounds), I'm home free!

So yeah SECOND NATURE, try sleeping with the CFO of your company and perhaps you can get a free gas card too!

I have all the above in my pickup(chip,exhaust,cold air,geared)but,bought it that way so can't tell ya if anyone makes that single investment difference.But' I can tell ya that changing ALL fluids to synthetic got me 3 MPG and I was very pleased.

Hey Nolte, you should check out that union rep of yours, he probably has your gas card and the company truck that you "earned"
