93 toyota

What's a general opinion on a 93 with a v6? I have a chance to pick one up for 500 runs but needs intake gasket and a tune up. It not been a farm or hound rig so should be OK. I'm not real familiar with Toyota's just wondering if this was a good or bad one. Thanks

I'm biased but did have a '92 for a long time. 3.0 is a good engine. 18mpg hwy 13mpg off road or towing. They are amazing in snow can chain all 4 and pretty well go where you want in snow. If the wheel moldings are all gone it's been used a lot. Also look at the front skid plate it'll tell you the use. For that cheap probably beat up bad. they are amazing machines though.
