Has anyone tried this type of dog on lions or any other biggame? I have been doing some reading on these dogs they are used in Africa for lion just curious if anyone has tried any or thoughts on it

Had 1 hes was scared of his own shadow was going to try him on hogs but he didnt make it that long. He was a good lookn well built dog though.

been a long time since ridgebacks were selected for hunting ability. bloody shame really. Ivde had the breed for 35yrs and every now and then a dog with the right heart and drive comes along. In my case the good ones have been to far apart to base any breeding program on.
