just got my first hound

hi guys i just got my first hound pup shes 12 weeks and this is new to me any tips would be great im also looking for another pup. i thank i want to stick with 2 for now and train them on cats. will 2 dog be enough? thanks

for a start, 2 is more than plenty. like has been mentioned, you would be better served to get a true, old dog that is long on the tooth but not a trash runner. DO NOT GET THE FIRST OLD DOG THAT COMES ALONG.. and do not buy one without seeing it run and tree GAME otherwise you will end up with another just like it!

I would strongly advise you to get John Wick's Books"A Walk with Wick' the tree dog encyclopedia-- there is currently 2 available-about $35 each
I think maybe Buddy on here has them.

How can you train you dog to road evry time i take her put she dont stay with The truck its pissing me off!!!!

ok thanks for the advise i got another hound today hes a year old and been started on cats the guy sead he strikes after you find a track and stays with it and trees good hope i wasn't lied to lol he told me he was moveing to town and had to down size was why he was selling him

My pointer is run your dogs everytime you can look up state regulations.
