so with the staghound blood do they run quit until that get one running or do they open up soon as they find something

sorry KY boy I raise my dogs around and in forests so they grow up learning what obstacles are before they can run to fast and do them selves real damage, lurchers should not be confused with hot blood greyhounds that are breed and raised to run as fast as they can in safe conditions. a good lurcher possess the ability to a just its speed in different situations allowing them to be able to follow fast game through the forest then put the foot down to make a catch when the forest opens up.
