Oregon cat dog breeder

Hello,
moved to northwest about a year and a half ago from Montana and just now finally feel like I am settling in. I run hounds for fun with family but like to have success now and then. I have one finished coon/lion dog and one in training that are both good pack dogs. Now that I am in new territory I am on the hunt for a cat dog breeder so I can start building a pack for my area. I have a lot of scouting to do but at the moment it looks as though I will be running west of I5. But who knows that could change. Looking for recommendations of breeders please. Obviously looking for heavy bobcat pursuit breeding. Color doesn't matter to me as long as they work hard and aren't mean. Thanks, Joel

Go hunt with some of the top bobcat hunters if you want a bobcat dog. Hunt with as many as you can find. There is a lot of difference of opinions on what one wants in a dog. The only way to see what works for you is to hunt with a lot of them. Go with a open mind and my be surprised as to what you will see. Dewey

Fallriver, Thanks for the heads up! I will send him a message. dwalton, that's the plan, I am new to the area and do not know any bobcat hunters here. Hence the reason I am asking for recommendations of straight forward gentlemen that have a good reputation. That way I can meet them and see there program in action. It shouldnt be to hard for you to find cat hunters in either place, they are plentiful. Hit the local mini marts with gas stations a hour or so before daylight and the dog boxes will roll through lol

If you really want results tack up a few signs at street corners saying free beer and snoose and they will come from all across the US and Canada!
