t 10 stealing reception

Post by 250plot »

hunt with a guy and he swears if you turn on a t 10 collar he will lose reception with his dog. says that he had his 40 on than once the t 10 came on he lost his 40. turned the t 10 off than got back his 40. did that 3 or 4 times. was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

This happens with the DC 50 collars too. if your collar number on your DC 40 is #6 and someone close by has a #6 on, your collar will lose signal. once the other #6 is turned off it will come back on. happens all the time with us. none of us have the t-5 or the t-10 collars.

Being they are both do-40, what makes one over power another?

I am running dc40s and want to get a dc50 for an additional dog. Is there going to be a problem losing my dc40s if I use them all at the same time, or is it just when you are close to someone else that has a dc50 that is not programed to your handheld?

Same thing happens with t5 and dc30s/40. No "interference warning" or anything, just plain can't track the t5.
