Chapter Two- Lee Brothers Hunting
I'm going to put this out to all interested houndsmen.
Previously in a post to locate a pioneer houndsmen has proven anything is possible thanks to the internet, persistence and BGH! I posted in another thread trying to locate Charlie Suttle . Some very cool things are unfolding pertaining to finding Mr. Suttle.
As you all know, it takes time and money to do these interviews. I for one support Brett doing this and trying to figure out a way to help Brett offset the cost of flying or driving down to Tennessee for the interview and to put together a video we all can enjoy. This has been a constant work in progress for several years. I have kept Brett in the loop and he has taken over since he can interview-video and I simply can't.
I guarantee you this is a part of history we don't want to miss a single episode of what happened down in Old Mexico / Bolivia.
I'm just smart enough to get this thread going and need help trying to figure out a go fund me type account or any other type of funding account to offset bringing this information to all of us.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Chapter Two- Lee Brothers Hunting
Please count me in as well.
As houndsmen, I think it is imperative that we all do our best to protect the history of this sport. Without the old timers taking the younger generation under their wing, most of us wouldn't be where we are. It is our responsibility to try and preserve the history and traditions passed on to us, just as we hope someone will do for us one day.

How about a name and address for us to send money to. I'd contribute right away to this.
Re: Chapter Two- Lee Brothers Hunting
If only we were as responsive to put up money for the future of our hunting as we are for the past.

I just posted this to get the ball rolling...Brett Vaughn (cowboyvon)is doing all the leg work. Maybe Brett can post his address or a link to a pay pal account or?
There have been some new findings in the last few days connecting the past. Those on social media with Brett have had a taste of some real cool stuff.....I'm more than sure you will enjoy what's coming.

These guys were dirty tough. I remember Wayne talking about Dale getting up well before daybreak and grabbing Wayne's socks, gear and whatever else was handy. Wayne said that's what they did, if it was sitting idle it was free game. Wayne introduced me to George Pavey some years back, sadly I was too busy hunting to take Wayne up on his offer to drive to Tucson and meet Dale before he passed away...I guess that's why it's important to document this stuff before it's too late. Sure glad to see Brett stepping up and getting it done!
L-R Arthur- Bill-Vince-Ernest-Clell-Dale. Ernest looks out of place, he looks more like a mobster!

It sure seems to me that Ernest & Arthur are backwards from the stories I've heard.

He lives in Dover TN
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
