Keep the videos coming. I love to watch. Wish I had the time to do that. Hoping someday to have some mules too.

Thanks everyone ...

Thank you! After a lot of prodding by my wife to keep making videos I have just recently upgraded my camera equipment. In the past most all of my videos have been done with a gopro or garmin virb.. kind of just what they call a point of view camera. They have there place but when you have to zoom in or get a decent pic of what you tree they are terrible. Also they don't record sound very good at all.

I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000.. its kind of big to tote around but has a really good optical zoom and records in 4k and with an external mic that I bought it records sound really good. I also use my Iphone that has a great camera on it and now I have a gimble so should take out the shaky shots. Both can be used on tripods.

I have some interviews that I videoed of some guys that hunted with Dale Lee. I used all the new equipment.. I will be editing them and getting them out soon, just not sure how I will publish them. I started a patreon account but haven't advertised it yet. Not real sure how much interest there is in the hound dogging world for these type of interviews

Enjoy your videos and especially seeing your hounds. Killing game is way down the list for me at this time. Maybe miles or years is to blame, but watching and reacting with my hounds & horses is far more important. Every bobcat I catch is one more that I will never get to run again!
Asked by some on different occasions as to what type of gun I use to shoot out bobcats? Have not shot one out in so long, I had to think about that some!
Maybe be why I love my country to run in--can have 1-3 hrs. of good running with lots of hound music. When I tree one, normally just praise the hounds and leave it to run another day.
But catch more on the ground then anything, at which time it is over for that cat.
Come hunt anytime you can, & bet we will have a race!

Thanks ... I said for long time in this country and for the way I hunt if I'm 100% sure I'm on a lion and I'm heading the right direction I'm pretty happy .. I love to watch the young hounds discover lion scent and start trailing. I've kind of had a dry spell and haven't been able to hunt as much as it takes to be very successful in this country but we are getting that all straightened out.. I'll be living back in the mountains for a while and then when we have the other place done it will make it a lot easier to hunt..

I would like to take you up on coming up and hunting with you.. I'm always interested in learning and seeing how others do it in different areas ... I'll bring my camera ;)
