Hey everyone. I am completely new to the hound game. I have been on several lion hunts, but just recently was able to tree and harvest my first lion. After that, I was hooked. I purchased my first hound yesterday and plan to begin hunting him with well seasoned dogs very soon (my neighbor is big time into lion hunting and has several finished/great dogs). I am also looking for a few more dogs so that I can begin hunting on my own. I need a good older dog to lead the way and at least one more pup. My hound I just picked up is a 4 month old Plott out of Idaho, I believe from Trinity Ridge Plotts.

Anyway, I am excited to become a part of this community and look forward to learning a lot on this forum!!

Oh, and I am located in NE Nevada, near Elko.

I went out and hunted above wells earlier this year nice country well suited for snow hunters .. my brother in law and his father ranch out there above wells open box arrow ranches ..
