I went out for " boys night out" friday night. When I got home ( at 3:30 a.m. ) and went to bed the dogs started roaring. I yelled at them twice before losing my temper and storming out there. I had just grabbed ahold of the first dog and I heard a huffing noise right over my shoulder. I had no light but I could just make out a large black spot in the tree. I went to the house for a light and camera and this is what I found. The bear is in a tree that is about 10 feet from one of the dogs house. I had to take all the dogs to the garage before he would come down. He was kinda growly and popped his jaws a few times. When he came down he spun around the tree and faced me for about 10 seconds before slowly wandering off.
I guessed him at 225-250. I wish the pictures turned out better but , I was drunk!
