Got a call from a neighbour, she had a colt bit by a bear last night. Went to check it out as she saw a big boar blacky walk by her house today. I didn't find the big boar but found a friendlier one to chase. Nick my 11 month old walker put it up the tree on her own. she did great treeing once the bear stared moving and making some noise. A really windy day and it seems to make a differance with the dogs locating the bear unless they can see it. I would have loved to had all the mutts but Buffy's 10 days from having pups and Nick is in heat which leaves My black and tan Rudy at home.
