We caught 5 cats and a bunch of hogs ! The Cat movement was slow but we caught 3 with my dogs . We had Mr Hurt meet us the last night and morning and caught 2 more . Had a hell of a race on one but gave us the slip !

Dewey got his Texas cat hide for the collection. Yippee. Could you tell if he had ever skinned a bobcat before?

David ... Dewey looked a bit rusty ! But he finally got it done [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY] Not sure on his knot tying skill I believe he had to re hang a time or 2 !!

How long does your average race last, if there is such a thing? Are those dogs running dogs or running x tree crosses? Must really be something to have those cat numbers to hunt. Thanks for the pictures. Al

Usually 15 to 20 minutes after the jump . Depends on the terrain real big and thick white brush thickets and thick pear flats u will have a little longer race . 2 weeks ago I had a 50 minute jumped race that they finally caught on the ground .!

Thanks Jessie and Rob: It is sure a pleasure to hunt with real hunters with really good dogs. They make it look easy. If you get a chance to hunt south Texas or the Texas hill country do it. It is some great country. Beware that everything down there sticks you or bites you. Who is that old guy in the pictures? I Recognize Jessie, Rob And Matt but not the old gray headed guy?
