Hello From New Zealand

Postby Lurcher » Wed Jun 04, 2008 5:19 am

Hello from New Zealand,
I hunt with a strain of poaching dog here in New Zealand called Lurchers, which are sighthound based crossed with a working dog such as a collie.
I mostly target Possums which i pluck and sell the fur which is quite valuable at present. I have always had an interest in Coonhounds although I don't know of any in New Zealand at all.
I catch the odd pig as well and have caught a few around 130 pounds. The majority of dogmen here chase pigs or have bird dogs. Am very keen to talk to anyone to find out more about Coonhounds and hunting.
Cheers Lurcher, New Zealand. :D

Hey Lurcher, I know a few mates on Lifesaboar.com and some of them have black and tans and tree walker coonhounds. Closer to home for you, might be worth a look.
