Well I had to miss the HH&M sale because of my niece getting married this week. On top of that, it’s costing me another $1,500 or so in unexpected expenses due to unforeseen circumstances. My oldest sister caught the China Virus 4 days before we were supposed to leave. So we aren’t staying with her to save money. Now we’re staying in a crappy hotel and having to go to restaurants or buy pre made food that we can microwave in the hotel. This trip has turned into a complete mess. I should have planned better…

On a side note, I set up some automatic sprinklers to keep my mutts cool during the day, since we aren’t home to spray them down. So that was fairly cheap, at around $50. But the rest of the automatic watering which was for the garden cost me like $250.

I’m gonna have to pick up way more overtime than I want to, to pay for all of this trip.

Nothing is cheap anymore for sure. But….it could always be worse. At least you were able to be there and share that with her. You might not get to make her next one.

Law: ain’t nothin cheap anymore is a fact!

She’s a good girl, I hope she doesn’t have another one lol. She’s a genius, and I mean a genius. She got a full ride scholarship to Yale for her Doctorate degree in molecular biology. She’s marrying some frenchie with a Russian last name. He might be a spy, I don’t know yet…
I don’t even know where she works anymore, she worked for BP and Chevron for a while. But she’s a really good person, my brother and his wife are fantastic parents. They raised her in the country and she still tries to make annual hunting trips with her dad. Usually deer or elk.

I think she and I would get along. I’ve been working working on my swinelecular biology degree for several years. Just about the time you think you have it figured out there’s another wrinkle.

Lol Swinecular Biology!!!
That’s gold right there! She’s definitely a well rounded individual but she has been indoctrinated by the left some, since going to the institutions of higher learning. Can’t change that now, but she’s still family lol.

Same here rowdy, its miserable! Not enough water to float the raft in the river and starting to get smokey. I did get the dogs out Friday night for some exercise. We are supposed to have some cooler weather starting on Thurs and calling for rain so hopefully that turns out to be true.

I hope it does! I’m getting ready to take a couple rifles to the gunsmith to get muzzle brakes put on them. My wife drew an antelope tag in Northern Nv. Her .308 would probably work fine but if she only gets longer shots I want to be ready for that too. I have a .264 win mag that ought to be just right and I don’t want to give her any more bad habits from being afraid of the recoil. But then I also have a 300 win mag that’s a little on the light side and it likes heavier bullets. I don’t enjoy shooting it as much as my 30-06, but I really like the rifle. So I’m gonna get a brake put on that one for me lol. I’m not a big guy and it kicks like a mule. Plus I’m waiting for my atf paperwork to come back from a recent purchase. I’ll be putting a muzzle brake which is also a quick detach adapter and will be able to swap that suppressor onto almost all of my rifles eventually. I’m pretty excited about that!

That sounds like a good idea on the rifles Rowdy. I like the .06 and the 300 wind mags.

Bee-bout-it, I hope y’all get that cooler, wetterweather. If ya do and have a little extra and could box it up, I’d pay for your time and shipping lol.
