Put some white vinegar on it first. That will make it a lot less sensitive. Then I use turpentine and pine tar mixed 50/50 in a coffee can. I just dip the foot down in it. I only make enough so it gets the pads and between the toes, not the whole foot.

Me and my nephew made a hunt this morning. Caught two pigs and 3 boars. It was a fist hunt go one of my pups and he did pretty good. Heck the third hog was in the creek and he was really baying nice. He likes to bite that south bound end it seems. I like that.

Well it’s looking like WW3 is starting. There’s almost zero chance that we won’t get involved.

It’s been coming unfortunately! All we can do is take care of ours here best we can, pray that it doesn’t happen, and if it does that blood isn’t spilled on our soil. I know it’s happening there and it will get worse before it gets better. Unfortunately, our “come on in border policy” has likely allowed MANY terrorists into our country. I have a super strong faith in God. I believe he will prevail.

Well the kid shot his first antelope this morning, 14 inches. Pretty cool putting meat on the table on our own property. The grass is very tall and we didn't see where he went down and the boys Weiner dog went to look for him with us, that little sucker went out found the blood trail all on his own and trailed right to that downed buck, I was very impressed.

That’s awesome Joe! I haven’t ever gotten to kill game on my own land. Killed a couple yotes thoufg. My wiener has found several deer. They’re naturals at it. But I also take ours lion hunting. He can’t cold trail but he definitely can trail. I always thought a cross between a wiener and a treeing fiest would make a good lion hunting dog out here in the desert.

My wife is very very certain she is going to bred him to one of my walker gyps and I disagree. But he definitely has the drive to trail . I want to take him to a Lion tree but he's a mini so no way he will handle any amount of snow with those stumps he has for legs

Lmao, I ours was supposed to be a mini but he’s a standard size. He’s always trying to get at my walkers but I keep him kenneled when they’re in heat. Which was basically all summer lol. He yips as he’s trailing and is chopped at the tree. I had him on 2 or 3 lions last year. He’s goof for up to 6” of snow. If he had 3” more leg, I would hunt him way more.

I’ll do it lol. I’m going to start hunting on horse back and I’m gonna teach him to ride with me. Once the track starts to warm up or it’s a jumped track then I’ll start putting him down.

I had him on that big tom I killed this year but he decided to quit and come back. I had already left and was driving around to the bottom. I got down to the tree and I could hear him barking up on the mountain where I turned out. I was pretty frustrated with him that day. He didn’t make it to the tree lol.

Woke up to 3 inches of snow and not supposed to stop till tomorrow around noon. Elk and deer hunting have been slow, but the wife killed a antelope while I was gone and the boy gutted it for the first time...pretty proud of them.

Its currently 8 degrees and was only 1 yesterday morning, we got more snow in the valley at my house than at my camp at 7000 feet. Came home from elk/deer hunting yesterday and filled my antelope tag,the boys buck had more mass but they measure same height but ill definitely never hear the end of it  found a big tom bobcat track out in the sage brush country yesterday and it has me dying for December 1st!

I like the cooler weather and I hate the heat, but you can keep all that snow and super cold temps.
