thats not going great so far-

not that it was big enough to hurt him lol

Good job Pete, how's that pup doing. He should be ready for his last set of shots. A bear treed like that really fires the young dogs up.

pup - hes a extra nice bold pup - i like him alot - i wont show him any bear for a couple months but he has road in truck a few days-- i walked him on a fresh track on a leash - he was really wanting to go-but i didnt let him - i think ,hes a little young - but im sorta backwards -
:) he did the coon thing -- and got pretty fired up --

its in the crotch of huge white pine that has 3 big stems-- took some doing to even find a spot where could see well enuff to get any picture

i guess it was looking for the perfect tree - :)

Nice job pete, they called for showers today so i didnt bother to go.Stayed home and worked on the honey doo list :D had a desent run yesterday,See bear once they never treed it, did more fighting than running.At least no dogs got hurt.

Good job Pete, I've done the coon thing with the three pups I kept, the two females done alright but that male just couldn't leave that cage alone :wink: . Got them roading three miles a day.

I never got a run on saterday got hot and muggy pretty fast.Treed one today with Guinness,Patty,Oak,Gary and Cole. About a hour and a half run.It was up in a thick thick soft wood tree hardly could see it. I saw it enufff to no it was a bear.I didnt even bother to pull the camera out of my back pack. Anybody else do anything?
