Here is a cross I am planning on making this fall. There are lots of excellent Clover hounds out there today but very few that still show old Bozo in there 3 generations.

With 3 litters all hitting the gorund and be delivered all by one person I know everyone got the right pup just did not remember which pups went to who without going back to the records :?

Looks good Spanky! I like the way you are crossing them and it is along with the method called static terminal sire which has been very successful and regarded for a long time. Also I think you have a great idea in placing these pups with hunters you know so you can track the progress of the whole litter.Good luck with all of them and I am sure many hunters are going to thank you for keeping old Bozo's blood going.

thanks Mike and I appreciate your thoughts on this.

Like every breeding there are no 100% sure fire solutions but at least if we continue to breed proven parents of similar likenesses and what we know that works for us then it can only better our chances, all trial and error :wink:
