Good Lord how long does a 1 yr old stay in heat????

Post by Bearsmom »

My hound is driving me nuts....but worse, my daughter's damn rat dog chihauhau, NOT FIXED, is about on his death bed in pacing my house, waking me up at night, driving me nuts in pacing when I am home! I seriously can't hardly take anymore....
CUSS WORDS is this crap gonna end????? I picked kill the 'rat'....but I taught my daughter to be as mean as me...so if I kill it then I won't be able to turn my back? lol! Now what the hell what???? I'm not shooting my hound, and not ready to fix just yet cause she's got the cold nose and drive on a fluke from heck! Can't kill the 'rat' cause my daughter will know and I will miss the site....
I tell ya one can't win in losing in this generation!
Someone just give me a 'hint' of when she will go out and a light at the end of this tunnel! Otherwise the little communist male might be sprayed down in bobcat scent and run as a 'trainer'! Of course you won't hear my complaints anymore because my little blond daughter will make me suffer the same..!

If it is a normal heat period it will last about 21 days from early beginning until the end.

I don't know Ike but heard he has some pretty good hounds....
BUT....back to the rat and my hound...I did watch that little 'communist' like crazy and sure we won't see that mix! But the little SOB has drove me nuts in trying!
It's been an experience for sure watching that little 4 lb 'giant' losing his damned mind day and night! Males...
