Hello everyone my name is Floyd. I am retired and I seen this hound dog in the back of this truck and just had to have one. I have family here in Mariposa Ca. and decided to give this state a once over. I met this man at a hamburger joint named James here in Mariposa he had a outstanding looking hound with a J on her ear. This James feller showed me the best time I have had in some time. After telling him I just moved to the area and had interest in hounds he said he would take me coonhunting and that he was actually on his way. Wow what a night last night! Guess he had land to hunt that was having problems with coons getting into trash. We stopped by my house and grabbed my little hound pup I got from a guy in Sacramento. Now James had told me that he had some problems with folks on the internet and I told him who don't! Either way I didn't see what he was talking about but I wanted to say this man and his one hound showed me three coons being treed and at around 6 this morning A BOBCAT! What a load of fun we had I am getting old and this feller made me feel young again. And that Anne dog he had was something to die for I offered him some big bucks for her last night and he declined guess I would to. This guy also said he sleeps with his dog and she stays in the house on a regular basis, Is that why she is the way she is obedience wise? Whatever the case may be seeing his hound in action was hook line and sinker for me. We are going again tonight maybe I can post up some pictures of us hunting I have some pictures of last night but James said the admin would not want them on here. Hey guys this man is a good man with a solid heart of gold. His hound is perfect and she hunts very well. He has her to where he can tell her to load up from a long ways away from the truck and she is going to train my young pup. I am done with my introduction and sorry it was long its just that James told me he was not liked and I just had to say I am a old SOB and I have seen alot. This man is not a bad person what so ever. He also told me there was a spot here that talked of him but I cannot find it. So maybe he was wrong I don't know but I will seeing ya.

He's talkin of James Hall, His dog is named Anne and has a J on the ear. Bigdog, I would just be careful, he has a lot of guys that want to whoop on'em, and right now I have a buddy that baught some Red Bones from him and there was some stuff that happend that's not cool, and I picked up a Redtick from him and now I have been told by three people and James after I confronted him on it, he didn't tell me right off the bat, that shes bred, by a mutt lab. So just be careful. On a good note, I do a lot of hog huntin down there in Catheys Valley, just west of ya about 20 miles, we've caught alot of bear and hog's down there.

ha ha I posted this on the wrong site but I am glad and well after reading just a piece of that I do feel its is between the two boys not us. Why would that be on a hound dog site? But anyway to hell with that! I like how it is not on here and welcome to the tree that's a pretty neat saying. Thank you for the welcome and Id also like to say what I did read is just what this James had told me he seems to have nothing to hide and it also seems like he may have just took his anger to one man to a different level due to them being so far away from each other. That's just what I gather because James seems like the kind of man to hold his own. But anyway I did not come here to defend him what so ever. I myself have alot of respect for the man just for what he showed me last night. I did not think I would ever see a hound I mean 1 hound do all the work as she did and this James talked to her so softly and she would just move like he cracked her with a wip! It was something else let me tell ya! Then this feller told her on the way back Anne girl tell um and she just started howling howling then he showed her his fist and she just shut up like that! Then he told her tell um and the same thing again. This man has complete control over the mind of this hound and I just really think he has something alot of us would either like to have or have had but lost or are trying to find. And if you got it your lucky! I personally think I will pay this man to teach me! Oh also he has a 6 year old son that went with us and James's Anne listens to him just as it was the father just maybe a mini James ha ha ha. Hey guys and gals I called James and told him I posted this he said I should have it erased. Do you all see what I mean he has a darn heart we need not to judge him by angered words on the stupid internet. Looks like he my be allowing his Anne to come my way though and that would be nice. And guys being around as I have I have known and met alot of people this man seems like he has lost something or someone I cannot figure out what it is. He said he recently sold off all his hounds for a change. Now I do hope it is not due to folks not liking him because of those angered words again. That would be shame on us in my way of thinking. Lets just say this much if I get this Anne dog something is wrong and that is a fact!

Had Buckshot check a couple people out. There are some out there that just want to cause problems. I think if we all just ignored those people they would lose interest. But it's hard to do, as long as they get a response then they are accomplishing their goal.

Just curious on how the dogs hunt that you guys got from him?

They aint nothin to right home about, well the two older ones any way, the male's just a pup, my buddy Mike baught both the redbones and I took the redtick, I have a buddy thats huntin her right now on coon up in Calusa, he said shes doin fine all she is, is a me too dog he said but she tree's ok, the two year old redbone female Mike got is a me to dog too, she'll tree with the other dogs, and trys to hunt on her own, but she's just green as grass, the 6 month old male pup, well he's just a pup and we aint gonna put to much presure on him, cause he's one of them type dogs that might go either way if you presure him, so we're gonna let him get some age on him and go from there. All three are good lookin dog's though.
