Alaska Fishing 2008

Got back yesterday from 10 days fishing in Alaska. Managed to catch all five species of salmon: kings, reds, silvers, pinks and dogs. Our best day was on the Kenai, we hooked 10 kings, landed 7. My best king was 45lb. My buddy Mike landed one that went 68. Also caught some silvers and pinks. Had a lot of fun fishing the Russian River with both black and brown bears. Had one blacky about 10 yards away fishing one day. I head back up in three weeks for two grizzly hunts.

One day we had a vicious pack of wolves corner us in the motorhome until we were able to feed our way out.

wow you are the only one, i talked to sevral fellas who go every year, non of them cought anything, fish cops told them it was a bad hatch
