Coughing Walker
I've got a 10 yr old Walker that has developed a chronic cough over the past year.Took him to the vet,no heart worms so started Ivermectin treatment.Seemed to help for a bit but now the cough is worse than ever.Does not appear contagious as the rest of the kennel is ok.We did the antibiotics thing too,any thoughts?

Ah,finally success! My wife is vet tech and kept working on the problem.
We put him on Prednazone,a steroid, and we are back in business.Things cleared up pretty quickly,5-6 days. There was some belief that we started with Lungworm which is very difficult to treat and that the scar tissue left over is what the problem was.Seems to be working.
