brand new to this web im from ohio and have an 8 month old bluetick female and she is afraid of baby raccons i showed her one about a week ago and growled at her and she came to me crying. i will try to post a pic as soon as i figure that out.[/list][/url]

First off, don't rush her if she's shy, that could ruin her for good. I'd let her go another month then get another dog with her and let him fire up on the coon first then let her in on it. I wouldn't show her another coon by herself.

the problem is i dont know of any coonhunters with dogs anywere near me i have tryed to find some guys around here and have failed

Welcome.Good to see another blueticker on board. Giver her time not every dog starts the same. Work slow and build her confidence up alot like training a young horse.
