Jarrett= You are the one that will decide if you like your dogs and what they do for you. I firmly believe the dog will only be as good as the person who hunts him allows him to be.It seems that most everyone in here has found what works best for them. I respect all the advice and take what I think will help in my situations.
I do agree that having the aide of older dogs helps however some old dogs do not want to help you train your pups. They wanna do their thing. We currently have two pups 7 months ans 2 months.. It is a complete handful but there are four of us and getting a good handle on them while they are young is very important for me. I guess you should do what you feel you can do and good luck..
