We got a San Juan bear tag and today is my last day of work for the week. BNG is already down there. In fact we got a couple of San Juan tags. :)

A little friendly advice for you. If you show up on that mountain driving around with dogs on the rig and no bear tag in the truck and try to tell the Fish Cop you are lion hunting... get ready for a ticket. :D :D

See ya down there amigo!! We'll be the camp with the non top shelf fat dogs. ;)

Hey Kurt,

We still haven't decided on a camp spot for sure. My buddy has all the dogs and is already down on the Lasal's hunting a guy this week.

I'm jumping in with the hunter tomorrow and we're going to meet my buddy down there and make a plan.

We shouldn't be too tough to find, just look for a camp full of fat, non Top Shelf dogs and that'll be us!!

Swing in and stay awhile and eat some of our food!! We should have plenty! -Brent

Dude,

Here is my top five list of things I could care less about:

#5 - Brittney Spears next CD
#4 - The Democratic National Convention
#3 - Oprah Winfrey
#2 - The TV Show "Dancing with the Stars"
#1 - What Dennis Ingram is doing this weekend

I'll go you one better. Please come down to the San Juan and drive around all weekend "lion hunting" with your dogs up on the rig. And you are more than welcome to stop into our camp.

In fact, there will be a guy in camp who would love nothing more than for you to pull in. He's wanted to have a word with you for some time over a comment you made about his dogs on the website.

So please stop by!! Consider that a personal invitation! And rack and stack those lions with the top shelf stuff.

We got bears to catch and what you do this weekend will be so far off my radar NASA won't even be able to find it. :D :D

Peace Out Bro...

Hell Ike, you can take my place this weekend! Another houndsman from Cache Valley drew that tag and asked if I wanted to come down and run with him and his buddy. But Idaho opens Sept. 1 and, well you know, decisions decisions......you can't do it all. :(

The hunter was going to be down there for 10 days so I told him if he hasn't filled his tag by this time next week, give me a call and I'll come down. You're welcome to throw in with me if I do.

I'm just hoping he doesn't run into HoundDawg and BNG while he's down there, no chance of him still having a tag if he did..... :(

Nice try bud but I don't threaten people. Merely said a guy in camp would love you to roll in, he wanted to talk to you. Take it as a threat if you want but this guy wouldn't pick on a little guy like you. He just wanted to have a little chat with you about some comments you made about him awhile back.

But I'm sure you were too busy rigging and stacking the lions and had better things to do than drop in our camp. Our loss I guess.

HoundDawg, Why is it everytime I look at this site you are telling everyone how good your dogs are or how good your buddy is doing down hunting on the most populated bear unit is our state? It gets old. . . If you kill a big animal then yes a lot of us would like to see it, but quit stabbing at people and writing on here how good you are or how good your buddy is. . . NO ONE CARES. . .

As far as Ike goes, if he has dogs that can rig and catch lion thats awesome and it's not against the law. If he writes something on here you don't need to write something stupid back, it's ok let it go. He wants to get his dogs out and learn the area for his hunt. Why would you write all the sutpid shit about him going to get beat up and that he'll get a ticket?

This is why we as houndsmen have a bad name. Give it a rest. . .

Dude,

If you are looking at this site and all you see is me bragging about my dogs, I guess you aren't reading any of the 1,800 posts Ike made. :D

My dogs are soft worthless suckers and if my buddy didn't hunt them non stop I'm not sure if they'd ever leave the kennel.

But as far as Tony goes, sounds like you have some jealousy issues with all the game he catches but that's between you and him I suppose.

And these internet sites have nothing to do with the reason hound guys have a bad name. Nobody but hound guys even hang on these sites.

They have a bad name because people run into them on the mountain and leave thinking, "That guy was a real jerk, I don't like those dog guys."

Unless the guy is an outfitter then they drive away thinking, "That guy was sure a dumbass." :D :D

OK I'll give it a rest since you asked. Only because of your cool handle. I'll let you deal with your jealousy issues with Tony and what he catches.

I'm like Ike. I'm a computer hunter, stacking the game from my keyboard with my legendary dogs. I'll let you outfitters do the real hunting!!

I'm going to go over in the corner and sulk because you just informed me no one cares and I'm a tender hearted guy. :( :(

Stormy Ridge,

Question for you. A few years ago there was a bear problem down there in a Scout camp and the DWR wanted the bear removed.

I was told some local hound guys named Smith had been involved in that deal and were trying to catch the bear at the scout camp or something.

Just wondering if that was you or a different Smith down there with dogs... ??
