Hey Houndswomen,

I never heard of one until you mention them, but I went to 'youtube' and typed it in and wow!! they got some pretty good torque and seem to go thru lots of stuff, all kinds of video, I am curious myself too, on how they hold up and such ?

oh hell ya, got my 68 from Rosco,he just finished the rebuild on my tranny, it has a 90cc Chrysler 2 stroke,it has held up for 40 years, and i was one of those "extream" kids, and i will flat get scared and jump off before they will quit climbing,Rosco has a 30 in loading dock and i can climb right up that mother, there is an old 32in pipe out back and can climb right over it, Ross has pictures of his buddy packing out a whole elk on one, the new ones have a 4 stroke Koeler moter, and they are a bit bigger than pre 82s,but still go anywhere,i'm tellimg you i couldn't sell my Kodiak fast enough, first fence and yer done, the rokon, you get to the fence, lay it flat on the ground, the pegs all fold up, pull up the bottem wire, give it throtel and it will push its self under the fence, who needs gates, deep snow sucks because there isn't enough wieght to hold it on the ground, but if i get 6 in to stay all winter in the canyons i'm lucky, i studde the tires with ice raceing studs, i run them all year, but since there aint much asphalt were we hunt that has never been a problem,i'm telling you if you are a hores lover don't buy one, after a week you'll want too shoot them stinking hay burners, and as far as milage, last year i think i ran a tank and a half all season, from Nov to feb, come on out Ross and me will put you on one, let you go scare yer self, than help you load one up, because you WILL have to have one

:D I am another Rokon owner and I like them. you only have to feed a Rokon when you are hunting or just riding. They will go places that you will really surprise and maybe spook you  and they hold up forever, if you do a little easy maintenance. :D
