Hello from vernal UT

Hey everybody iam new on here so thought that i would introduce well my name is pat and iam from vernal ut. iam also kind of new to the hounds i havent been doing it for 20 years like most of you guys on here but i ve had dogs for about 4 years now. chasing hounds is the funnest thing that i have ever done ive got 8 dogs now i run mostly walker and bluetick but i have had just about a good dog from everybreed of hound. well thats me and happy hunting to everyone and goodluck.

well bearkiller like game wise? i love getting on a good bear race, but myself love hunting a big old tom any day. how bout yourself?

Polar opposite. I prefer a bear hunt but enjoy cat hunting. I have been mostly coon hunting in the winters do to my work schedual but hopefully that'll change this year.

Dont get me wrong i love bear hunting ill chase a bear neday. but to me a lion is just a more like impressive animal and funner to chase i think. what kind of dogs do you run bear killer??

mostly i hunt the diamond mountain unit, but i also go to the bookcliffs to. thats cool i like redticks. me i have 4 walkers 2 bluticks and 2 bluetick walker mix.

Do you have access to private land on diamond or do you try to hunt around it? I never turned dogs loose up there because of all the private ground.I usually hunt a little to the west.

yeah bear killer i do have access to alot of the private on there, where are you located at? and how far west do you hunt from there?

Either side of 191. Taylor mountain is where I usually camp. I'm in Vernal. I hunted the potholes area in the summer hunt. I went out to timber creek a couple days also.

Yeah I have a yellow one, grey one and a blue one too. Depends on what I'm doing. Yellow one in the truck right now. What gave me away? LOL. Anyhow, I'm not what I'd call a lion hunter but hopefully I will be this year.

i c sweet deal, i c your dog box just down the road from where i live quite often so i dont know if you live there or just visit but its on south vernal ave just past that four way is where i see it. yeah im hoping to do alot more lion hunting this year to.
