Urge your congressman and Senators to vote 'NO' on bailout!

Post by southwestwalkers »

E-mail them 'NOW'!! This bailout plan is just another example of 'BIG' government. This is nothing but fraud and lies. It's to bailout wall street PERIOD!

This spin that it's doomsday if this bailout is voted down is HORSE$%#T!! its the boogieman talking!! They are trying to brain wash the American people.

Please contact your congressmen and Senators and urge them to vote no on this bailout!

thanks,
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God - 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NIV)

Robb, I couldn't agree more. Talk about a pig with lipstick on it. What they've done is to attach the banker bailout to a piece of legislation that was already passed by the senate and awaiting house approval. They attached it to the renewable energy tax break bill. Call every federal rep you can think of, but most importantly your reps and senators.

Robb, you are also right on about the fear mongering going on. I invest in the stock market a little, and I always figured it was like going to Vegas. Maybe you win, but there a chance you won't. The stock market is not FDIC insured and people acted like their money was safe without paying any attention to our fiscal policy. We also need to stop having a monetary system that is debt based. It allows the bankers to rule and basically, enslave, for lack of a better word the citizens of this country who have been taught that you must buy, buy, buy. Keep up with the Jones and have a house like the ones on MTV Kribs.

I own a small business and being fiscally responsible is of utmost importance. For employers to use a credit line to make their payroll is ridiculous and the company deserves to go under. The workers will get hired by the business that wasn't fiscally irresponsible and have more work than before. The number one responsibility any company has is the protection of their employees. Above all else they must be protected. Above the shareholders above everybody. IF lack of credit means that a company has to wait a little longer before expansion, then so be it. IT may take longer, but the profits will come sooner than if you were tied to a line of credit with interest. Anywho, Repubs, Dems, it doesn't matter what failed political party you belong to, you must contact your represetatives and try and stop this bill.

Oh by the way. If this bill passes did you see who the board members are that would oversee the bailout. It is the very same corrupt bankers and ex ceos that got us into this mess. Bernanke, Paulson etc. The corruption continues....

"In the absence of the gold standard, there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation. There is no safe store of value. If there were, the government would have to make its holding illegal, as was done in the case of gold.... The financial policy of the welfare state requires that there be no way for the owners of wealth to protect themselves.

"This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the 'hidden' confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights."

YOU GUYS ARE ON THE MONEY. SO HOW DOES IT EVER CHANGE? I SEE WHERE WALL ST. JUST DONATED TO BOTH PARTIES THE DEMS AND REPUBS. BEING FISCALLY RESPONIBLE AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER MEANS VERY LITTLE TO ME . THE PROBLEM IS IF I DID NOT DEPEND ON, OR CONTRACT WITH THOSE COMPANIES THAT DEPEND ON CREDIT SO I COULD GET PAID. I DONE EVERYTHING RIGHT IN BUSINESS. A SOLID CREDIT LINE (NEVER USED ) CASH FLOW. THE ABILITY TO PAY MY BILLS. ZACH WE ARE THE 1% HERE CORRUPTION RULES THE WORLD. NO ONE WOULD DEEM MY SMALL BUSINESS WORTHY OF A BAIL OUT FOR THE REASON I MENTIONED. FISCAL IRRESPONIBILITY TRUMPS ME. THIS IS KILLING ME. THE ONLY REASON I'M STILL FLOATING IS BECAUSE I HAVE MONEY IN MY BROKEN BANK. I HAVE CONCLUDED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL NEVER SEE THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. YOU WOULD THINK IN THE UP COMING ELECTION IF THE PEOPLE WANTED CHANGE THEY WOULD WANT SOME ONE WHO CAN REALLY BRING CHANGE. BUT OUR COUNTRY AS A WHOLE HAS NOT HAD ENOUGH YET.

Your right slim. That is one of the "Theories" of the New World ORder crap. The markets fall and we have a super great depression which only a North American Union headed by the UN would be able to fix. Screw that nonsense, but I can sometimes see how some people could think that stuff. People are to lazy and complacent to go to the streets. It would take a collapse of the economy and government to cause people to go to the streets and then most would just be looters.

It's not to late to call. I called all of my reps today and it looks like they're voting no, so no matter what side your on call your reps and let em know!
