I put 5 trailer vents around the box for good ventilation

4" top storage

I attached some chains to keep the lid from opening too far and weather stripping to keep the elements out

Wow that's pretty nice job. What are the chances of you posting some plans for it on here?

Thanks for the compliment. Well, this might be kind of difficult to type it up but here it goes. LOL

I used 2"x2" for the frame, 5/8" plywood for the lid and sides, and 1/2" plywood for the front, back, and the top storage.

The overall dimensions are 2'x2'x4'. The top storage is 4" deep, so you just frame that with the 2"x2"s just like you would the top and bottom. The main thing to remember when cutting the wood is that the 2"x2"s are actually measure 1 1/2"x1 1/2" and the 5/8" plywood is actually 1/2". You just really have to pay attention to that when planning how you cut and organize how your wood will overlap.

I could probably answer some specific questions, but I am not sure how to put a blueprint type design up on here.
