EASTERN OREGON HOUNDSMEN

Postby high desert hounds » Thu Oct 23, 2008 12:24 am

I just stumbled apon this sight and thought I would check it out.
I have 6 hounds none of wich are papered or pure.
my pack treed 26 bear, 16 bob cats, and 10 lions in 3 diffrent states. like all oregon guys I am frustrated with oregon liberal laws and the exsplosion of lions in the state while our big game suffers a devistating decline in numbers.

I am willing to b.s with any body who isn't full of b.s.

I lived in glenrock wyoming until I was ten. I still have a ton of family all over the state and visit there once per year. I am planning a trip back out there this winter to go bobcat hunting with some locals.

Good Kitty. To much pressure over this way. But got a few good spots.
With the high price of cats this year, sounds like we will have a hard time finding a parking place to let the dogs out, LOL
We run Lep Curs over here.

I treed sixteen last year, it was my best year to date. my best dog is cur, b&t, walker cross. There is no hunting pressure over here but you have to know where to go or you'll spend your catch money in gas. If you have the dogs for it the desert can be great. but silent running cur dogs are a must so I try to hunt the forest so I can take the whole pack and not just my katie dog.
