Pretty sure I know the guys who got the 476 by Timberland (if its the same bear). I also know of a 420, 465, and some others in the upper 3s. But I did not hear of one bear that dressed over 5 taken by hounds guys this year. Or any bear that size North of 70 and West of 53. That is a pretty big area with a LOT of hound guys.

I know quite a few guys who put on a lot of miles, and they all said that there weren't many big tracks to try this fall. It should have been real good with tag #s down, but for whatever reason the nicer bear vanished.

If you look in the WBHA yearbook, there are just a handfull of bear that actually dress over 5. That's all I'm saying. I constantly hear about these bear people see that are 500lbers, but when (or IF) they make it to a scale they rarely make it. I know I wish I had a dollar for everytime I was brought to a 500lb bear that would only go 250.

yup most people cannot judge worth crap or they purposefully inflate thier numbers to feel good  go figure that one.
I know i have never over estimated an animal brought to the scale. I am ussually way under.
