Destry from Lake County. Just getting into running hounds with a friend. Have been waiting to get a pack up and running for years and finally everything seems to be working towards that happening. We just purchased two walkers male pups last week from a fella in marysville. they are young, but all ready like to tree my buddy's cat. Just need to get a pup trainer and a couple others and we are set.

worse then crack or better yet crank, since that is what this county is know for. I figure there are some guys that run hounds, but it seems to be largelyh an untapped resource

Well Jim they are doing great. The one I picked out, that I named Jed, the full blanket back one, is a real go getter. Either he has alot of desire to hunt or he hates cat. The second one we picked up, Sam, black face black and white back, is a little hard to figure out. He has already got some scraps from the cat so I dont know if he is just being a little timid now or doesn't have the same desire as Jed. Jed got a good scratch over his left eye, but that didn't keep him from baying up the cat. They are a little young to know anything for sure, but they are smart little bastards. By the why how old were they when you gave them their shots so we can know how long to wait to give them their second dose.
