Hello from wyoming

I am a brand new to hounds I have always wanted one since i was a kid reading where the red fern grows. I have been hunting deer and elk and turky since i could walk fast enough to follow my dad. And now i think im ready for the challange of cats. I have been reading a lot of the posts on this site and it has fueld the fire to get a hound and start. I have a co worker who has hounds and has givn me advice and will help get me started. I would like to get a pup first to grow with my family. I have been looking at differnt hounds and i really like the majestics. But i am open to any breed that will catch a cat. So if any one has any litters upcoming this next year I am looking for a good cat dog and bestfriend all wraped up in one.

Call2rescue guess you have been enjoying this artic blast we had the last few days. Heard they shut down the roads in Gillette. Just got really really cold here and some wind. Lucky enough to live right at the base of the mountain to get some protection from the wind.
