Howdy, i'm really new to this whole hound thing, certainly way over my head with two black and tan/walker cross pups. but i'm excited to get e'm out. will certainly be asking lots of questions. I want to run mine on bear,bobcat, and maybe coons. Anybody around Santa Rosa area, or hunt the southern part of mendo forest or cow mt?

I hunt from around Redding south to about williams. But I might not be in any better shape then you are all my dogs are young. Most got in a few hunts last year for coon, a few for bear this year and doing good on coon this year. Trying to do some bobcat but will see about that???

yea my pups are about 5 months old now. i've never got em on anything live yet, just some drags around the house. I'm about scared to turn them loose on anything because i dont have tracking collars yet. but maybe we could see what we cant scare up sometime.

Welcome, I've hunted out of stonyford but that's about as far south as I made it. I hope your young ones turn out.
