Hello from Northern Ca.

Postby livetohunt » Sat Jan 24, 2009 6:51 am

Well I just thought I would say hello to all. I'm new on here. Well I have been a member for a short time but just started talking. I cant type to save my life so try not to much.
This looks like a great site and great tool to keep our sport safe, fun and on the right track.
Well a little about me I had hounds for a few years ran Plott and plott/walker dogs. Did ok not great but didnt really know much. And still dont. I got out of it about 8 years ago. But it stays in your blood. Now I have redbone, walker, and plott dogs. I coon hunt try to bear hunt and try even harder to bobcat hunt. All my dogs are young under 2 years old doing good for not having anyone but me to show them the way. I guess thats about it from me. Thats more typing then I have done all year....

Good luck to all, stay safe, and take a kid hunting not only are they are future but with hunting in thier life they dont need drugs or gangs....

Welcome livetohunt, I don't know if it was you but I talked to a houndmen west of Red Bluff who had a nice Redbone during bear season. I run a few walker's and Redbones don't see alot of red dogs around here. Well good luck with the cats would be nice if the weather would be nice and drop a little snow. Good Luck

The day I was up there the hunter's we might was looking for a little blue dog. I didn't have anything out at that time. I had a very good year just wish it would have went longer.
