Re: Bear Hunters in NH and VT, ME?
what town do you live in?
I have a Great Uncle who lives in Norton; only been up ther a couple of times, thats as far north as I've been in VT.
2006 I drew a NH moose permit for zone B. While up there scouting I saw quite a bit of bear sign and saw some bear hunters up there but didn't get a chance to talk to them.
About the moose hunt; I shot a 750 lb moose with a 48' spread. I've been thinking about traveling up there to bear hunt, because of all the bear sign I had seen up there.
Do you know of anyone up that far on the NH side who hunt with dogs?

If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been hunting with hounds?
