Re: Early Morning Coon Hunting
very cool. jst curious, how high do those mtns go? thanks
Re: Early Morning Coon Hunting
The highest peak up there is 9,012ft. Theres a good number of ponderosa pines, and big ol'oak trees with seasonal natural springs flow out of the ground.
I was up there hunting for cats in those mts two weeks ago, lost my best dog in that nasty place. That mountai is really rocky and full of cactus.

Re: Early Morning Coon Hunting
cactus plants are the pits, i hate huntin in cactus cause if you see somthing and need to get down on the groud real quick, you got to check and see if there are cactus plants in the ground so ya dont lay on one. haha. any elk up there?
Re: Early Morning Coon Hunting
No, just a few remaining mule deer, some javelina, oryx down low on the east side of the mt. and supposedly some barbary sheep.
