I know must of the stuff John hunts goes back to Kenny Abbots line. Haven't seen him in a couple of years, But you are the second person in couple of weeks who has brought his name up. I will do some checking for you?

John moved to Wyoming county. Thats all I could find out. But a good rule of thumb if your going to buy a finished hound, buy it from under a tree. Sorry couldn't help you any more than that.

John Boothe is not a bad guy at all. He deals in dogs. And he might have sold a dog or two that werent worth what he sold them for. But that wasnt the question. the question was, "any information on John and Toni Boothes line of hounds.. and i have info. John now lives in Union, West Virginia. i bear hunt with him all the time. we are hunting buddies. I hunt the same walkers that are out of his dogs. Since 1975 he has been breeding his own dogs. The dogs that he hunts and breeds usually are COLDNOSED!! most can take a 3 to 4 day old track, trail it up, and tree it. they are GRITTY!! out of ALL the different breeds and lines of hounds, his walkers are the grittiest ive ever seen. if u catch one on the ground, you are going to the vet or going to get the shovel. I personally sold every dog i had to get some dogs from his line to start my own. his dogs generally are faster than most dogs. good mouthes and tree good too. all in all, they are good dogs. some of his blood is OLD nailor blood. a little Lipper and a touch of Sackett.

Just make sure you tell your buddy to buy them from under the tree. I didn't because I took the mans word and his written guarantee and got burned for $2200.00.
