Airedale's
Does anyone still run a fuzzy face in their Pack? I always been Airedale Curious. If you have any information, let me know. I know about the legendary grit of the hunting strains, but I don't know much else. Fill me in. Good and bad. Thanks

Re: Airedale's
I must admit to being a little curious about these Jagt Terriers.
Are they similar to Airdales in that they are a curly haired non shedding dog?
Some info suggested that they are a pretty agressive breed but are they, say family pet type dogs and are they relatively intelligent too?
Who out there has hunting Jagt`s,how do they mix with hounds?

Re: Airedale's
I hunt a Airedale with my hounds. He doesn't have the nose of a hound but he can put the hurt on a bear real fast, and he trees real nice, better than most hounds. He gets along good with my hounds but I have a problem with hunting him with other hounds, they always want to fight with him.
Jagds are in no way like Airedales and they shed like crazy and are pretty much crazy.

Re: Airedale's
I got him from a lady in south west Colorado, I don't remember her name I decided on her because she had the closest Oorange breeding I could find it it is known to be of the more hunting blood and used for hunting instead of showing. I have a pup out of him and a Striker bred Kemmer that I use for coyotes and she is Hell on wheels, fast fast fast and alot of grit on a coyote. I think I could look up that breeder on his papers. Give me a call if you want more info. Devin
