What you call the pup? Glad you like him. I'm going to check baits today & tomorrow. After next week I have 6 of the next 10 weeks off to hunt bear.

Congrats on the puppies!

I live about 25 miles outside of Sacramento.

Girlie, my granddaughter of Bruce is out of a Bruce/Waltz Cindy male and a female I bought as a young dog from Oregon that was out of linebred catdogs. I recently bred her to my male, Cisco that is a grandson of Bruce on top and great-grandson of Bruce on bottom....puppies are expected any day now.

On June 10th, I had a litter of 8 (6 males, 2 females) puppies born from Tanner (who is Cisco on top and Girlie's mom on bottom) and Sequoia, one of my two crackerjack young females. Sequoia (who is Cisco on top and an unregistered female on bottom) caught her first coon by herself at 5 months, was striking out of the box at 6 months, ran and treed a bear with the older dogs at 8 months, bayed her own hog (a big boar) at 9 months, and treed her first bobcat in the woods at 11 months. She started and treed a cat as recently as May 24th, and had her pups just 16 days later.

Needless to say, I am stoked by the prospect of these two litters.

If that question was for me, then the answer is no, they are not all sold yet. I have my eye on a blanket-backed male and possibly a female. There are a couple of folks interested in a pup each, but nothing committed just yet.

I am not trying to be a snob, but preference will be given to folks with a history of owning/supporting the Bruce pedigree...this blood is hard to come by and needs to be preserved in serious and determined fashion.

Yeah your right Rifleman you only need them kinda dogs to go to serious guys that are trying to preserve that line. I was only curious as to if you sold them all. Wasn't looking for one. I got a good one from Mark Stone.
