Re: looking for some help
It sure wouldnt hurt to play with coon a little and it extends your hunting season but I have always had a few of my bobcat dogs that have never seen a coon and they are top end bobcat dogs so it goes to show they can be just strictly cat dogs. But if a person wants to play with coon it sure dont hurt.
The home of TOPPER AGAIN bred biggame hounds.
Re: looking for some help
I'm new to this as well, but I think legally here in Oregon we can't run coon or cats until September 1 now (but I could be wrong). So I think I would order a good cat and or coon scent or two and start making drags.
Remember: alcohol won't solve your problems....but neither does milk.

I'd start laying some drags for em' the better they get run the drags a little farther then by the time your training season comes you could start getting them on some coons.
