Loved the book and the old movie second movie sucks

I really like the book, and I saw only the new movie.
In the Full Cry Magazine and in this forum I have read that many houndsmen were started when they were young and saw this movie, when they grew up they start houndhunting because of this book or the old movie. So I was very interested in reading the book and seeing the movie.
I was very glad they made a new version, thinking that even if only one in one thousand of the youngsters that see this movie that are not use to hounds, that it will interest them and in the near future start or at least try this type of hunting. It will make all the houndsmen good to have more youngster in the hound hunters world.
My wife and my daughter and son, nephew and some friends of my son about 13 years old they really like it. Even my son at seventh grade had to an assigment to read a book for English Class and he pick "Where the Red Fern Grows".
