Oh wait...I just read that again... Our bob season doesn't open to Dec 1st.. That doesn't leave me much time to catch some good ones.. Counting that the weather behaves.... Oh well...

You can make that trip down here and hunt with us like you said you would! Bear season will still be going, and our Cat season opens in October. Come out here and catch a few cats and show us how it's done, and we can run a few bears, have two seperate packs going at once. I know a spot we seen a Cat that had to be 40 lbs or more! He walked right across the road for us and could care less! Crash gave him hell, but I couldn't find him in the tree
But, he did a good job for not even knowing if he was supposed to run that or not, he thought it was a setup.

Hey Sandra
I still want to make it down, I have to see what the boss's schedule looks like
Brisco is still striking bears
So snow is the only way I can tell you for sure what we are turning loose on... Unless our buddy lets us borrow his broke cat dog... which Brisco has a better nose than she does:roll: ... glad I didn't fry him last time we went out.. I was damn sure he blew up on a bear.. Nope.. 20 feet later she blew up (w/the others) on a cat....
No snow and I can tell you it will be 1 of 3 things.. fuzzy, short tailed, or long

It was just a thought! We might just have to run a few bear then
I guess one of us could enter for a coon that way if we can't catch a Cat we might get lucky and run over a coon on the way there! LMAO! See at least you have a 1-3 chance at a cat. If any dog in our truck makes a noise, it's a 1-1 chance of being a bear, LOL. I'd say in December there will be snow... But you should come down earlier than Dec, and come and just run some bear, or get a feel for the area before the contest. Tiny's gonna come with us sometime this year (hopefully Chawn too) so we should all get together and have a little fun!

Hmmm, we might have to take that into consideration! Haven't written up the actual fliers or sent out the newsletter yet. LOLladycathunter wrote:I didn't see anything in fine print saying it couldn't be roadkill
Then again, after Rebel puts the crunch on a coon it pretty much looks and feels like roadkill.
