Probably because nobody is bringing them up, unlike these where other breeds are being ragged on because they are not plotts.
I'm sure when you're in a bar and you can hear someone chirping in the corner about you, you just ignore it and don't say anything.![]()
Some of you guys remind me of the type of guys who get a truck, jack it all up, put big tires on it and then get pissed off when some average joe blow gets just as far by not being an idiot and on half as much gas.
I could be wrong but I haven't seen everyone trashing a breed on this thread, just talking about their dogs and what they get out of em, and of course it is a comparison to any and all other hound breeds out there when you are talking about why you hunt the ones you do. the B&T thread was used as an example of an unbothered topic, not a dog comparison. I have owned other breeds and still have one, but have not seen the same results from them as I have my plotts, and it is undeniable and noticable at my house. Preston Joy said it pretty good without singling out any other breed. My off colored dog is a good dog, worth feeding, but is not in the same league as the plotts. None of the other breed of dogs that I have owned or hunted with were. i am really looking forward to hunting with a new strain of plotts this summer and seeing for myself what they are all about, actually gonna try one soon. I know the guys that hunt them are honest and hunt hard and expect results. I think there expectations exceed most peoples and that their dogs must meet them, because I have not found them to be liars or exagerators yet. I am really looking forward to seeing this strain of plotts run into a phone booth after they get out of the box and come back out wearing a cape

over whether plotts were ill or not.
