Hello from way up north in Cali

Hello,
from up near Crescent City, Ca-- 15 miles from OR boarder. Mostly hunt bears and try to catch bobcats after bear season. Been looking around and learning on this site for awhile but dont post much. Got a pack of over the hill hounds and most of them seem to have a limp or two but still get a couple up the tree every year some how. allways looking for a good bear dog like everyone else but i dont seem to find one very often. take care

Hello and welcome. There is some great bear up in the country. Little step for me but lots of them.

hey any of you CALI boys know if there is any bear in X-1 (A-3 for bow) during bear season? Seen a few during bow season for deer a few years ago but dont know what they would eat during hound season if they were there still around. Just curious if any one hunts over that way at all?

I deer hunted up in X-1 about 5-6 years ago. I saw a few really nice ones up there. Up in the timber on C-1 too.
