Here are some pics from a lion hunt last month.
Packing two 6 gallon jugs of water on a horse can be a life saver for the dogs
when there are not many shade trees around and you left the creek miles ago.
Also, glad to hear I'm not alone in having to use rocks to balance the load!

PS a good way to get even with a hunting buddy who pulled a prank on me; was to tell
him one of his zippers was undone on his back pack, only to put a rock in there and zip it up! He failed to see the humor at 9,000 feet
when we stopped to take a brake and eat lunch!
