HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE GARMIN ASTRO 220 TRACKING DEVICE WHILE BEAR HUNTING. MINE HAS BEEN DOING SOME VERY WIERD THINGS AND I TALKED TO SOME PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO THINK THE RADIOS USED TO BEAR HUNT, HAM TRUCK RADIOS AND HANDHELDS, SEEM TO SUBMIT SOME KIND OF RADIO WAVES THROUGH THE GARMIN THAT SCREWS UP IT'S PERFORMANCE.
IS THERE POSSIBLY AND TRUTH TO THIS?
THANKS, JASON HUNT

Re: GARMIN ASTRO/BEAR HUNTING
I believe in another post someone stated that garmin had replaced 3 radios due to this and once they found out about the vhf radios. They won't honor the warranty. Food for thought if you call them.
Don't buy the hype.

You have any suggestions on this? Basically, have the Garmin in a different place? Would that work?

Turn one or the other off while the other is being used, can't hurt it then. Mike
