I use to live outside of Vegas. I hunted up that way a few times. I now live mostly in southern Arizona and visit New Mexico often. Do you ever hunt around Flagstaff, Williams, Arizona?
I've heard reports that the Hog presence and activity is still good outside of Mesquite up thru Littlefield towards St George Utah. Access the private property all thru out that stretch of the river. Hogs can be very adaptive they will eat about anything from carcasses and garbage to fruits, veggies, peoples gardens or lawns searching for grubs etc. They also like the swamp shoots. They survive and multiply in almost any terrain w/ water.
Several people I know have Hog heads hangin on their wall, and several more have taken Boar Hogs within the last 10 yrs on that river. Go to the Gas station in Littlefield, hop on an ATV and go down to the river Head north or south and you should see sign within 20 minutes, its best hunted with the hounds.
What part of Arizona are you living in? How many hounds are you running and what kind?

Re: looking for some info
thanks for the info. I live in bullhead city just a cross the river from laughlin. I have a couple of majestics hounds I hunt. I never hunted up that way I try to stay close around here to hunt, wife wont let to go to far or to long and leave the kids with her. The main reason I was thinkin about movin up that way is because the coon huntin here is sorry. I used to run lions when I lived in montana, but my famliy and work comes first so dont really have the time to take and run roads all day anymore

I'm your Hucklburry this is just my game
I have a second home, condo in Vegas. I move around a lot do to work an all. You need to hunt the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Mt Charleston area.
Take the 95 all the way through Vegas to you come well out of the city. Exit Cold Creek from the 95. Take that right into the Mtns and forest. Lots of lion!
My brother in law and I hunt there all the time as well as the Virgin river area. He has a camper an all we get out for a few days once or twice a week. My hound stays in Sierra Vista, Arizona with a girlfriend.
Another thing to do from your parts is just stay on the 40 head east into Williams, AZ then a lil south lots of lions there as well.
I mostly use my Fox Pro and game calls up this way. Love to predator hunt as well as fish. Fishing that Parker dam works as well in the off months. I keep my hound for hunting in southern Arizona and NM
