Eager and lovin it!

I can't really say I am a houndsman yet, but, I'm sure trying to become one...
I got me two pups, well...8 months now, and they look great. In the past, I have hunted with guides and I 've always wanted to venture on my own. Well, I finally did it! now it's my turn to proudly say I own them hounds you hear in the distance... Like my wife said you either like the bellow of a hound or you hate it! I myself, love it.

Here's a picture of my first two hounds, they are Leopard and plott mix...
Dixie (light brindle)and Pepper(dark brindle).


I'm in Northern California and hope to meet some good folk out there...

Hey there Livetohunt,
Thx, will take you up on it, I've been having fun training my hounds, they have done one cage, and a few drags. Now we are trying to find some live stuff to full around with, they stick great to a track and so far so good. I'm trying to get around, I'm a member of CHC and UHCI.
I've met some good people and friends. My kids had an opportunity to enter the dogs with the Nor-Cal hounds association in one of their events and tell you what they had a blast.

Looking forward to a few more events and getting my hounds on a few good chases.
