I was up at Ken's place tonite and he has a few litters of pups on the ground. I have a pup booked out of Ike x Cricket unfortunatly there were only 4 in the litter, should be a good cross. The dogs he had out bear hunting this past weekend looked like they had did some runing. In all I am very impressed with what Ol' Duncan has in his kennel. He has a nice selection of females and males in his breeding program well put together, houndy, hard hunting, track driving tree dogs. I have hunted with most of the hounds in his kennel and I would feed every one of them. Oh and I got to see Ol' Hana (full sister to Biggame Thunder) getting bred to Smokey she is a very fine hound and to the gentleman that ownes her congrats!!!!

Lace is a daughter of Bow X Cricket. Nilsons 5 Time Super Crank is a male owned by Doug Nilson of Lehi Ut he is out of Kens 4 time albert and a female named Tina. I have a male pup out of this cross that is doing really good he will be 1 on 7/16. He will track and tree right now by himself.

I got my pup this weekend out of Lace, looks like a very nice pup! She runs with her head down already, and she has adjusted to my kennels very well, in fact out of all the pups I ever put in there I think she is adjusted better than any to the new environment. So I let the fun begin!!

I picked up my pup from the airport last week and he is doing fine. He left Salt Lake then to Cincinnati and finaly landed in Virginia.......After a three hour ride home from the airport he came out of the shiping crate and acted as if he never left home.......The pup is doing very well with his meat training and I'm making it more difficult every day. He also got in the house and was baying at the house cat the other day....Not bad for an 8 week old pup.

I just wanted to tell everyone how impressed I am with this pup and Ken Duncan himself, if anyone is looking for a black and tan pup deal with Ken on one, I have been running NSTRA bird dog trials for years and have gone through my shares of hounds, and Ken Duncan is one of the best guys I have ever deal with! I hope some day I might have the privilege to get one more of his pups and the chance to hunt in Utah with him.

I have a male pup from that Smokey x Wendy cross. He is doing really well on cats. He is a natural, easy to handle and intelligent. I am extremely happy with him. I can't wait till next season!
